Government Announces Stamp Duty Holiday
As you may have heard, the Government has today announced changes to the stamp duty payable in England and Northern Ireland. This means reduced rates of Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) will apply for residential properties purchased from 8 July 2020 until 31 March 2021 inclusive.

Buyers and Tenants Beware
The first of March will see a significant change to Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) filing. From this date, the deadline to submit a SDLT return will reduce from 30 days to 14 days. This deadline applies to both residential and commercial property.
